Maven vs Leupold

Maven R series vs leupold VX5.

Is a certain R series better. First or second focal plane.

Main use would be 3-500yards out to maybe 7-800.

I can get the for 300 cheaper then the vx5

Looking at the Rs.3 and rs.5 sfp.

Leuopold household name, maven I’ve never heard of or seen one.

Throw in another wrench I could get Zeiss V4 in the same price range or the trijicon tenmile

Maven is good stuff. I've heard they updated their glass as well. Can't go wrong with either.
