How is it at close to max power? I’m assuming since it’s 40x it doesn’t loose as much quality as 50 or 60x when dialed up to max.

It’s extremely clear. It’s the b series glass that maven uses which is their top tier. The field of view is still great as well at the 40x since not 60x like some the other scopes. I really liked the wide angled style viewing experience

That is a stellar little spotting scope. I have the 80mm and the 67 maven. It’s hard to tell the difference unless low light. For the money it’s very hard to beat really like not needing a arca plate with it.

Thanks for the response, I have several pieces from the b-series and really enjoy them. This spotter is very tempting.
