Maven RS.2 Ring Torque?

I'm probably going to use a 1 piece DNZ.

They say "Our mounts are machined so true and straight it takes more torque to hold a scope in place. 25 inch pounds on ring screws for a cheap $60.00 scope. 30 to 35 inch pounds on a good quality scope. You will not hurt the threads in our mounts since we use such long ring screws."

So should I expect the RS.2 to handle 35 in-lb on the ring screws?Screenshot_20241231_080038_Chrome.jpg

Don't have a Maven, but never had an issue with any scope tolerating 35in/lb from DNZ mounts.

FYI I torqued it to 35. Just as the wrench clicked over on the last screw my phone buzzed with this reply from Maven:

Embarrassingly I haven’t been out to shoot it yet. However I did swap the DNZ out for UM rings when they came back in stock.

When I removed the DNZ there were no ring marks or any discernable effects on the tube.

I'll probably have a chunk of "Dad time" in a couple weekends...
