I bought one of these thinking the zoom feature would help hitting very specific targets for getting a range at distance. Since this thing goes from 6-12x, it almost has the power at the high end of a range finding bino. The problems I had were when you zoom in, the reticle and displays grows proportionally with the zoom, so you can't truly be any more finite with what you're trying to hit at 12x than you can at 6x. The focus from the display to the glass doesn't seem to tie together either. It's almost like you can either see the target crystal clear and have a blurry display, or feel like you're looking through scratched bushnell binos and have a clear display. My display also gets so foggy if it's under 30 degrees it's hard to see anyway. For the money, I think the higher end Sig Kilo or a Leica is a better product.

I bought one when they came out as well, and I have seen same things you have. I can’t seem to get ranges anywhere near what they advertise either.
