Well, I was early, but ordered a second last year in anticipation of a price increase. I wanted it anyway, but had chalked it up to my expectations just being wrong previously.

i had binocs in my amazon cart for 1000 an think they went to 1150 yest. im guessing they put them "on sale" for black friday now? but just a guess of course.

Alot of companies raise prices right before black Friday and holidays so that they look much more appealing when they go "on sale".

This might be the case here, not sure.

In a way, it makes sense to soften the blow. Everyone who wants one is on warning that the sale is the last chance to get it for the prior price. That way the snoozers can't complain too hard.

We will have to see if they have a BF sale of course.

Their best sale was around Christmas last year if I remember correctly. You could get one for around $800. You had to do the custom build option but it was cheaper for some reason.
