Maven C1 Vs Athlon Midas G2

Has anyone tried these side by side? I’ve used diamondbacks and both seem to be a step up in the $300-$350 range. Thanks

I haven't looked thru the Maven or Midas g2, but I looked up the specs for the 8x42 models (You didn't specify the power). Their specs are pretty similar with two exceptions:
The Mavens have an eye relief of 19.5 mm and the Midas is 17.2 mm.
FOV is 341' for the Mavens and 426' for the Midas.
Though I have not looked thru either of these binoculars, I do own the 1st Gen Midas 8x42s. I bought them a few months ago specifically because of their amazing FOV. When comparing them to my Vortex Diamondback HD 10x42 and old Bushnell H2O 10x42, the Athlon Midas 8x42 is the undisputed winner. The Midas's clarity, brightness, color, and low-light performance is a huge step up from the Diamondbacks and cost me about the same ($216).
