Maven C-1 vs Vortex Razors

Hey everyone. I have the opportunity to buy a pair of Razor 10x50s for a decent price. I currently run the Maven C-1 10x42. Any opinions if it would be worth the upgrade to the razors. Are they much better than the C-1s?

I own Razor HD 10x42s as well as Maven C.1 10x42s. They Razors you’re considering are 50mm but the optics are going to be similar to the 10x42s besides a smaller FOV and a brighter image. They each have their pros and cons. The image through the C.1s are better. I feel they’re clearer and crisper and deal with glare much better. But the Razors have a much deeper depth of field (you don’t have to focus as much) and IMO better ergonomics and better eye cups.

Decide which features are more important to you then go from there. I personally would get the Razors if I were going to be mostly freehanding because the shallow depth of field of the C.1s bothers me; it bothers some people less than myself, though. I would get the C.1s if I were planning on using a tripod a lot because the image really pops with those and the depth of field bothers me less on a tripod.
