Been saving my money for a pair of maven b1.2 for quite some time. However I can buy a pair of zeiss conquest hd for $600 vs the $1000 the mavens go for. Am I crazy for not just jumping on the zeiss glass for such a better price?

I think the Maven B1.2 are a step up from the Zeiss Conquest. Ive tried the conquest and they are good. I own the Mavens tho. I’ve seen used B1.2s on here for $800 or so. If you don’t need them soon, maybe put out a WTB add

Having only looked through the Zeiss, I feel like for $600 is a deal. I've never looked through Maven binos so I can't compare.

Also Maven has a pretty good "insider" pricing system. Are you a veteran, first responder, gov employee, guide/outfitter? "EDIT info removed...your quote still contains this info"

I have the Maven B1.2 and my brother has the Zeiss Conquest. I prefer the Mavens, but they are both quality glass. I purchased the Mavens because I would rather support a Wyoming company and I trust their warranty and CS more. However, for $600 I would really consider the Zeiss.

Euro optic has a deal right now that would be hard to pass up ($600, free shipping, no sales tax) on the Zeiss conquest hd 10x42. That being said I have never tried them. The maven b 1.2 are great binos. I have had them in 8x42, not 10x42 and loved em, size, ergonomics, and glass. They can be found used for cheaper. Maven has been great to deal with the couple times I have.

Eurooptic is the deal I saw. I've been gun ho about picking up the mavens, but that deal on the zeiss makes me wonder if I'd be better off saving the money.

I really thought the mavens were great binos. But at that price it’s almost worth trying the conquest. I almost bought em when I saw that deal but have heard the focus is kind of fast and I like a slower focus. Everybody’s eyes are different. Maybe u will love em. If not u can sell em for almost what u paid for em. If u decide to go maven u can buy used and save 2-300 hundred dollars off of new If they are a little dirty or have any issues u can send em in and they will take care of u. Pretty quickly. Don’t know if that is the case with zeiss or not as I’ve never owned em. Either way good luck and let us know what u decide and what u think of em
