Maven B1.2 or Leupold BX-5 Santiam 10x42

Looking at these two pair. What’s the hood and bad of both?

I have the Maven C1 and Leupold BX-4...the Maven are better glass at lower cost. I know that's not the models your asking about...but maybe this helps a bit.

Wasn’t overly impressed with the BX5. The eye cups are also the worst on this planet. The BX4 is a better buy over the BX5 imo.

i bought a set of the bx5 last year and thought they where terrible.I am no optics snob and only own mid tier bino.Was hoping to like them but was not impressed at all.

Ive used the original maven b1s for two seasons now and I love them. You can also get a demo pair from them to test. Never used the leupolds but you can’t go wrong with the mavens
