Maven B.5 18x56 vs vortex UHD 18x56

Does anyone have experience with both?? Looking to try a new set up for next year and thinking the 18x56 (or maybe 15x56) for the tripod along with some 9x or 10x for the chest rig would be a good combo. I can get both for roughly the same price, so any input would be great!

I have the UHDs and one of my friends that I hunt and shoot matches with has the Mavens. I think the mavens may be slightly better optically. The focus knob on the maven is extremely sensitive. I don’t think you can go wrong with either. I hunt with the 18s in my backpack and 10x RF binos on my chest, and I really like that combo. The 18s do give up the ability to count tines and score antlers at 1+ mile to a spotter, but they are much better at finding game.

That’s good info! Thanks. 10x rf binos are definitely on my radar also. I’ve had 2 pairs of those so far, the vortex fury and Leica geovid hd-b 2200. Might try out the Revic br10 this time.

They are both fantastic binos with similar warranty. Whichever one is cheaper. IMO, you won’t get anything from either that the other wouldn’t provide.
