There's a growing market for "original" sporterized military actions like this, most of which were done between the 1920s and the 1970s. Yours has a stock that bears a lot of the shapes/stylistic Weatherby influences from the 50s or 60s. Part of what makes them appealing is their largely bomb-proof actions, nostalgia, and quite often finding genuinely unique expression in how their stocks and sometimes even metalwork are finished. A lot were absolutely bubba'd into abominations, but a lot were done by fine craftsmen too. Yours hits a lot of what collectors really appreciate and value in them. They aren't presently too expensive, but there's definitely a solid, growing market for them specifically. Good luck with your sale, the right person would really be into this gun.
