Anyone ever lose one and replace it with something other than the factory one that fell out?

Not sure what else you would replace it with. If you replace it, zip tie it on there. Couple of small zip ties and it won’t fall out as easy.

Yes, I lost one a couple years ago and bought these aftermarket dampeners made by LimbSaver... no issues, seem to do the trick.

I just use a little serving to tie them in. Inconspicuous.

I don't know what else you would put in there.

Never lost one, mine seem pretty tight where it would have to take a direct hit from a branch to push it out. I know I've read of others losing them and just can't imagine losing them just from shooting.

If I ever lost one and had to replaced it, I would use clear RTV on the damper to the bow, and also the weight to the damper to make it a permanent attachment to the bow. And clear RTV can be peeled off in the future if needed.
