Does anyone have first hand experience with the Q2XL or Drenalin LD? I’m looking at longer ATA single cam bows, but there does not seem to be a lot of good information out there on them. I know everyone loves the Switchback XT but the ATA is kind of short.

That Q2XL is an old bow. Not that there is anything wrong with that. Are you shooting fingers? First bow?

Curious how you landed on these two. Back in the day everyone loved the Q2 and Q2XL.

Drenalin all day every day and twice on Sundays.

After spending a few years behind the counter at a pro shop I decided early on that the Mathews switchback, Drenalin & DXT are probably the easiest tuning bows ever developed.

I’ve been reading forums and comparing specs. It will be my first compound. I’m actually now leaning towards a Rival Pro I found. I want something accurate, quiet and enjoyable to shoot.

Funny because the rival pro came to my mind when you posted the other two. I had one and loved it but it was my target bow. These longer bows are smooth and easier to shoot. I’ve always favored the little bit longer bows and even for hunting generally stayed at 34” or longer ATA with brace heights on the longer side as well. How long is your draw?

Glad to hear it. I am a 29” draw.
