Swapped strings on my lift x today. Set the limb shift to the center after installing the string. Is this normal to see on the side with the limb shift? Referring to the bare axle. Just seems like more exposed axle shaft than I remember. IMG_5092.jpegIMG_5093.jpeg

Here are two pics I took for you to compare. Both are of the bottom cam on a lift x 29.5 that has the limb shift in the center. Yours looks like more axle showing and is there a step down in the axle diameter showing on yours?

Your pic makes me think there’s a bushing or sleeve that’s not pushed through the limb far enough and it should be touching the avs on the cam with no gap….
I’ve pulled cams and changed strings but can’t remember the procedure or if there was a bushing in the limb or not.

I measured from outside to outside of the black axle housing to maybe give you a reference. 2 15/16”. Pics to show how I measured.

I got this measurement too.

I think I got it figured out. I installed both cap screws that go into axle. Removed cap screw on limb shift side and adjusted left and right and the sleeve stayed in place.
