Mathews bow solid colors

Anybody had any issues with the durability of their solid colored V3 bows?

I have a Black and a Green V3 31 and the finish was very well done on both and has held up great.

I’ve been told that some of the older model Mathews had issues with chipping of the paint. I was just curious if that was still the case on the V3 models.

I have a V3 31 in ambush and it’s holding up well. This finish is more textured than the camo patterns, I like it a lot better so far.

I was told by a dealer that the green is cerakote and the other colors are paint. That green does look sharp.

Yes sir I think that’s right. I definitely like it better than the dipped patterns. Now if they’ll come out with a tan in that same cerakote, that would be awesome.

I have all black and the paint chipped off before I even left the shop with it. Then i just touched a broadhead to the riser *tink* and there's another chip. Love the bow, hate the finish. Did not want all black anyways, just was tired of waiting. I may cerakote mine, or send it to First Lite and have it dipped.

I will say, Mathews did tell me to send it back and they would refinish it. I just decided not to.

I got a V3 27 in Ambush Green. So far so good.
