Marsupial harness shoulder strap swap

Love my Marsupial bino pack, but at times experience some pain in my traps during long outings due to the relatively narrow width of the shoulder straps.

Wondering if anyone has swapped the Marsupial straps for another manufacturer’s - specifically the Kifaru Mesa or FHF airframe harnesses? Looking at the buckle connection points, they look like they’d clip right in.

I realize there will be some fatigue regardless of manufacturer given enough time. But some of these beefier harnesses have me interested.

I swapped mine for an airframe. Didnt help. Best thing I did was rig up some hooks on my pack shoulder straps to hold the weight of my harness on the front of the pack.

In a recent Exo Mtn Gear podcast they mentioned coming out with a universal harness system that would work with most bino harnesses next year. Sounds like it’s a little bit stretchy and should help to alleviate shoulder fatigue/pain. I’m personally waiting for that product to be released.

Yep, heard that as well. Likely will be what I’m after - just hoping they can make it happen before next season gets underway.
