Marsupial harness non magnetic break in? Operator Error?

I recently decided to try out the to the marsupial non magnetic harness. I love my magnetic version dearly. However the non magnetic version is giving me fits.

- It neither stays fully open nor closed well. It tends to want to creep back to 3/4 open partially blocking the opening to take binos in and out or creep back 3/4 closed allow dust into the enclosure.

- When I pull fully open the elastic tightens around the outside of the pouch around the bino barrels making removing the binos a two handed operation to wrestle hem out or wedge the back in.

-when I pull it fully closed the front of the closure extends about a halfinch past the back of the case and similarly the front puffs out beyond the top front of the case maybe 3/4 inch. Long story short it doesn’t lay flush close to your body like the magnetic version.

For reference I’m using the medium with Swaro 12x50 EL

I would give them a call. I just got (2 days ago) the no mag for a new pair of Leica Geovid pro's. They are tight, but the lid stays put so far. Haven't been used much yet.

Mine seems to have similar issues. I’m not loving it. I have the older non mag version, and thus far I much prefer that. I’m hoping it’ll break in over time. If not I’m gonna call them and see if they have an ideas

I ordered one and sent it back the same day I received it in exchange for the magnetic version. I have a few of the regular magnetic ones and absolutely love them but the no mag version is a terrible design that doesn’t work well at all.

I unfortunately missed that window, with hopes that’s it would break in. Do you use your magnetic ones with a compass/onX at all?
