2 person Mountaineering Tent, or makes a great expedition quality 1 man bivy with a ton of room for gear. To me, these tunnel designs - like the Garuda Kasala, modelled after the Taku - are like a gigantic bivy sac suspended off me.

I used to climb a lot and used this in campground setting only, then we used on our Honeymoon trip on bikes and the SE AK ferry system, and stored. Roomy pyramid front allows easy seating and gear management up at your heads in the front section with a tapered foot section.

Weather is no problem. Easy to setup in bad weather, from the inside; Stake it down, crawl in with two of the 3 aluminum poles, go outside and insert foot section pole. Factory taped, freshly Nikwaxed and re-seam sealed, I will include bottle of seam seal. The Taku has a single wall Goretex Adventure Cloth tent fabric and a Nexus (heavier nylon floor - coated and taped)

108" long, x 55"x wide, x +/- 44" tall (I read different specs on the head room. More than plenty to sit up, and that's all you can do in these designs, regardless). 4 lb 15 oz,.

Looks used and well maintain, wrinkled from storage, a few reinforcing patches here and there, no leaks, some seam seal streaks although it's GoreTex, we've kept it seam sealed and nikwax sprayed.

I'm having newbie problems uploading photos, but will set up again and send photos to serious buyer. I'm new here but check my 1500 perfect feedbacks on ebay under my handle 'car7x'. I'm selling off some of my expedition grade gear, my mountain hunting camping setup needs to fit 3 and gear.

If I remember correctly retail was way over 500 bucks, way back when - 275 PP ttd
