Marlin 1894 Upgrades

I want to upgrade my Marlin 1894 CST. For that from where do, I have to starts?

Any suggestions.

If I had one I would have that bad boy threaded and screw a suppressor on it. Sepending o nthe shape of the blueing, I would have it cerakoted black or a dark dark grey.

Get a lighter trigger, consider eliminating the safety and a lighter load gate spring.

RANGER POINT: larger loop lever, loading gate, trigger (if you need it).

Hated the factory 1894 loop and felt like it was going to cut my hand. I really like the RP loop. Size is just about right. I could really dig it if it was between that and my Brockman loop on my 1895. But, for the cost, it is pretty great.

You gotta get their loading gate. Factory is horrible, particularly after you use theirs. You can even unload without cycling lever.

I've not used one of their triggers, yet. If you want to get out the "flop" it's probably a good alternative.

BEAR TOOTH MERCANTILE: safety delete and saddle rings

A must have to me. I run my lever in a one point sling off the saddle ring.

SKINNER: sexy azz peep sight rails that double as QD scope mount platforms. Once you see these, you'll not put a Pic rail on a lever gun again (or at least you shouldn't).

Threading is a crime on a lever, to me. No suppressors or brakes. If you have a thumper and feel it needs a brake at the range, get a custom clamp on from GrizzlyGunWorks. Suppressor--why?

I get mine off ebay. I just prefer the style the guy on there makes. Sure makes it easier to remove lever.

I have to say, selling mine was the biggest improvement. Despite tweaks, it shot 3-4 inch groups and I hated the small lever. I don't miss it.
