Manners LRH vs LRH-NV

Is there any benefit of getting the Manners LRH-NV over the LRH? I don't have night vision/thermal clip on but I haven't ruled them out. I like the built in PH style pic on the front but am worried about the rifle looking incomplete if I don't get the bridge. Does anyone have any photos of the LRH-NV without the NV bridge installed?

I have both, and they are the same other than the for end. The Lrh-nv is slightly wider and flatter on the bottom and doesn't taper at the front because of the nv base. I do personally really like the new integrated recessed pic rail on the lrh-nv but in practical usage it seems to only be cosmetic and not functional atleast for me personally. I just picked up the new lrh-sport comp for competitive shooting with the two piece micro mini chassis, and I wish I had gotten that on the others! Ill try to grab a photo this evening with the nv bridge off.

I have a night stalker with the nv rail it looks good but would be fine with out it as well. I actually prefer the full arca rail but all my bipod/tripod mounts are arca compatible. I think if you’re buying new get the nv it has more features that you like but you if used either one is great. You see way more lrh for sale than the new nv model.

How are you liking the sport comp? I'm contemplating getting that for NRL Hunter next season.

I really like it for competition use, although looks wise it doesn’t have the cool factor. But the full length arca is no question the best and I have competed with the manners nightstalker but the adjustable LOP caused issues trying to use a rear tripod. So I think the sport comp is best for the competition use because of that and the nv bridge looms sweet but it does get old taking it off every week to clean the rifle. It is the lightest weight lrh that I have received yet and I have 5 different ones. I tried retrofitting the rail from a manners tcs but it just wasn’t going to look good, so I have some brass coming and I am going to make a custom weight set for the new lrh-sc.

I have a LRH and a pro hunter. I would really recommend the pro hunter over the LRH. Has a pic rail on front, same arca, and it's lighter. The adjustable cheek piece does nothing for me. I like both stocks but the ergonomics of the PH win out and it has the scalloped pic rail.

Well the new lrh-nv has the same features as the pro hunter but the additional cheek riser and optional nv bridge. So kind of a win win.

Have you utilized the Double Dead Fill to increase the weight slightly on any of their stocks?

I have a TCS with the double dead, which that stock is almost 6lbs before you add any additional weight. But I have not tried it on any of the lrh.
