I have been looking for a Manners Pro Hunter Adjustable specifically in the Everglades color pattern, since they were released. Finally found one recently from an online vendor and ordered it up. I was so excited to have found that color for my new lighter weight 257 Marksman build, but the excitement about the color failed as soon as I opened the package.
Is the Everglades color supposed to be two distinct colors?
Every picture I have seen since that color pattern was released looks like it should be green and goldish sponge blotch's, but the one I received looks like it's just one color, with maybe 1 or 2 very small blotch's looking a lil more green. My wife even agree's that it looks like one color. I was starting to think I must be partially color blind (which isn't possible with my profession and the regular eye tests) or that maybe it just looked that way in certain light. I decided to use my phone to take pictures in multiple types of light, both indoors and outside and to me, I don't see the difference like in all the other pictures I have seen on the internet. Maybe I shouldn't be so concerned about it, but for the price of these stocks and my expectation of the color, I'm kinda bummed out about it.
If you weren't happy with a specific color would you try to work with the vendor, contact Manners, or just live with it?
Please zoom in on the photos and let me know what you all think?
