For sale is a Manners EHSL (Elite Hunter Super Lightweight) stock for your Rem 700 short action rifle. The model number is 19744-SS which is significant because the stock was built for the 2015 Shot Show, per a Manners rep. Because it was intended for Shot Show display, I think we can assume their best quality effort went into building this stock. The stock is black, has Edge fill and weighs 26.9 ounces. It is inletted for short action BDL bottom metal. The pillars were factory installed. The barrel channel is .872" wide at the tip of the forearm, and the rep told me it was built for a Bartlein #3 barrel. It wears single black sling studs at the forearm and buttstock. Finally, it includes a 1/2" Decelerator pad on the buttstock.
The stock is excellent condition. There are a few shiney spots here and there from rubbing on a surface. Certainly nothing major. The stock is overall excellent. I would keep it but the barrel channel is too wide for my pencil-thin Remington Ti barrel. It will look fine with a standard sporter or magnum action.
