MagView S1 Sync: Can you make it QD?

My buddy borrowed my spotter for a hunt and returned it with a MagView attachment. I understand that typically MagView utilizes those adhesive metal plates that surface to the back of your phone case, or now they have the “SYNC” adapter that is supposed to auto align. However, I don’t want to adhere that disk to my phone permanently as I have a kick stand/pop out handle deal, that would be rendered unusable.

I can’t help but think I could potentially adhere the new Sync adapter to some sort of plate that attached via the MagSafe built in phone magnet.

Has anyone messed with this or have thoughts?

I’m thinking maybe get a MagSafe adapter off Amazon and reverse it to magnet to my phone then use the adhesive to stick to a piece of plastic then adhere the Sync to the opposite side of that.

I would probably get a case that I used with the MagView thing glued to it then have a different case for every day use.
