Bought this to put my Bergara .300 Win Mag in. As with most clones, she fit perfect, except for the bolt hood. The Bergara has a firing pin cocking indicator at the end, which extends a bit too far for it to reliably strip rounds from the magazine. I ordered a more traditional hunting stock, so this one is for sale. Remington 700s or clones in LA with a standard bolt hood should work fine.
The stock has been painted and cleared. I made a rear knob for field expedient comb or LOP adjustment without carrying an allen wrench. I added a Limbsaver recoil pad as well. With regard to the bipod, its the Spartan Precision Javelin Pro Hunt carbon fiber QD bipod. The single mounting point instructions seemed a bit flimsy. I pulled the stock apart and made a nutplate out of aluminum as well as adding an additional screw. The mount is 100% solid. It comes with the Magpul bottom "metal" as well, but no magazines. She's been to the range once.
I have about $650 into the set up. Not looking to separate. Shipping will take a few days until my new stock gets in, so I can reuse the box to ship this one.
