Magneto speed v3

I recently bought a magneto speed used. It's worked perfect every time out until last Saturday. The reading started off really high. 4155 for a 6.5 PRC no way it was that speed 2nd shot 4810 then started getting some word errors and non reads. I don't remember what error said at this point. It was cold also. I don't have a manual. Might this be a low battery issue? It never warned anything about low battery. A few of the shots were in the normal range. But it was jumping all over most way high. Anyone had similar issue?

I had similiar, but the other way around. Super low velocities and dropped shots. Changing the battery "fixed" mine. I always keep a spare 9 volt in the case now. I'd definitely start there and see.

Can't say I've ever used it in extremely cold temps though.

I've been playing with it this morning. Found the voltage feature with it in warm house says 6.5volts. @ 22 degrees it was probably lower. I guess I'll get new batteries and a spare. And Saturday see if it reads better.

Agree with HGL. Probably time for a new battery.
