Anyone used these?

Anyone used these on a a Dillon RL1100?

I’m figuring out that the mishmash of dies I’ve been using for a decade on my RL550 and XL650 for 300 BO are not ideal on my new RL1100. I mean they work, kinda, but…

Mainly the Lee FCD. It will not work on the RL1100.

Because the 300 blackout is such a short cartridge and you have to screw the dies down so far, the FCD is contacting the ejector tab. Just for comparison my Dillon Taper Crimp .223 die does not contact the ejector tab. Even when screwed all the way down to the shell plate.

And in general because the 1100 isn’t as smooth as the other presses, not having that giant radiused mouth on the bottom of the die is causing me some heartburn.

I tired both my Lee seater (w/micrometer stem), and my Forster Micrometer seater, but neither is ideal. I love my Forster dies, and of course they will work on a progressive, but they are really designed for single stage presses.

If I’m gonna get a new set I was considering the Lyman Pro Pack. I know they were made to be used on the Apex 10.

Do the Lyman Pro dies have the radiused mouth like the Dillon?

Just wondering if I’m gonna have the same issue with anything other than the Dillon Dies when combined with 300 BO and the RL1100.

There has to be people loading 300 BO on an 1100 with something other than the Dillon dies, right?
