Sounds like you have a good start. I’m sure they will have good info for you. I live in ID but also hunt CO. They have good elk zones.

Welcome and good luck in CO! We are planning another Colorado elk trip this year. Lots of steep, beautiful country out there. My best advice: don’t skimp on the fitness aspect of preparation. Altitude will quickly reveal your training deficiencies. Ask me how I know
