Luekotape, how to pack small amount

wow... I guess I am wayyyy to lazy. How much does the whole roll weigh vs half wrapped around a pen? I just pack the whole thing.

True. But do you carry a whole roll of duct tape or a whole bottle of pain reliever or a whole spool of cordage, etc? Pretty much everything that people take in is done in reduced quantity when possible. Why carry more than you need? I rarely (knocking ferociously on wood) have blisters so I just carry a small patch of moleskin and a little Leukotape just in case. For those prone to blisters or other foot issues, might as well haul a whole case in

I found that the glue appears to be air activated. the yard of tape I wrapped around a pen was a PITA to get off the pen and then lost a portion of its sticktion on my foot. The reapply tape did not stick nearly as well as the fresh stuff. could be due to many factors. I do know that after a year the short piece of tape on the pen would not come off its self and I had to toss it.

I tossed the whole roll in too. I think some loose perspective when they get too deep into the weeds of ounce counting.

If duct tape came in a little roll like leukotape you can bet I woudn't be messing around wrapping it on a lighter. I'd just throw in the roll.

If duct tape came in a little roll like leukotape you can bet I woudn't be messing around wrapping it on a lighter. I'd just throw in the roll.

Well when you're are weighing everything for a 12 day hike in sheep hunt bringing the whole roll is a bit much. I don't get blisters but wanted to bring some just in case.
