Have any of you used a Luci Light (LINK) in your tipi with woodstove stoked to the max? Before I order one, I'd like to make sure the light isn't going to go on the fritz if I hang it up near the peak where the temperature gets a mite bit toasty. Literature says it's good to 122 degs F, but I'm guessing the peak of a hot tent gets hotter than that. Always pushing the limits, right?

Any personal experiences here with the Luci Light?

Haven’t had any problems with mine. I drilled a couple holes in my center pole and stick pegboard hooks into them. The light goes on the top one normally, wet clothes hang on the others . This is just a few inches from the stove pipe as well. 3 years on the light doing this now.

Thanks for the feedback. I ordered one on Friday. I'll put it to the test beginning 9/10.
