LS Wild Suppressor Covers

It no longer remains simple and lightweight.

To get waterproof. It has to be something like silicone. I did a whole bunch of testing with silicone wrap.

I can tell you how to buy stuff to DIY or I guess sell kits for it.
What about using something like a silicone spray to make your existing covers more water resistant? I’m sure most waterproofing products like DWR aren’t rated for high temps…

A guy could use it for sure. It doesn’t change the dynamics much but a little bit.

Amazon sell the silicone baking liners, and you can wrap that with at least 3 to 4 layers depending on the thickness. Then wrap with the self adhesive silicone tape.

That is waterproof and will give some mirage protection. One or two layers didn’t seem to give much mirage protection.

I stopped testing early. I thought about testing a layer of felt wrapped up, but it wasn’t an easy to apply solution. It might be able to seal and get mirage protection.
