Yep, you're right. It's supposed to be 6.5" but it's 7". I didn't measure it before putting it on the suppressor, maybe it stretched a little bit?

@hereinaz are these able to stretch that much? It definitely felt more snug going on than coming off.

They are made to hang off the back a bit, really shouldn’t stretch much. You can scrunch it a bit rather than stretch it out. It stays on if you push it back.

But, PM me specifics and we’ll swap it out.

What are these made of? Any idea on what kind of strings of fire they’ll hold up to?

I stopped at 20 .223 and 10 7SS and was good to go. They are hunting covers. They will go further.

You’d really have to be into barrel smoking territory to be creating problems.

PSA: be careful sliding these over rough edges. I peeled off the insulation from the inside of the cover on the sharp corners of my nomad TI XC. I’ll be ordering a replacement shortly. Looks like a great cover otherwise.

Shoot me a PM with pics and info. If it was too tight, we’ll adjust for that model if we can.

Yeah, the felt is not sturdy. If this is a problem we may add additional stitching. Or, we’ll show how to use plastic or something to ease sliding it over.

Don’t buy a replacement, I’ll get this fixed and sorry you are a test subject on tweaking.

I want to get a FAQ and video out there as well.

Got mine last week. Took a little bit of work to get it on but fits great. Was able to go shoot with it and it definitely helped with mirage.

Hot tip: slide the cover down the barrel, screw on can, then slide the cover up. Goes on much easier with the can locked down.

I gave up on getting my Ti XC cover on (with limited time), that’s a great tip!

Those may be a little tighter in general. PM your order and I’ll send a looser one.

It also helps to get one edge and work it around.
