Lower back pain at hip area

For those of you who suffer from lower back pain or hip pain, do you wear an additional belt(s) under your pack?
Meaning either a hip belt for carrying a gun, knife or even a separate belt holding up your pants?

I'm looking for ways to eliminate that belt system.
Putting my side arm on my bino harness as well as many other items once carried in a belt type system.
I got the AGC set up and figured a way to test my side arm while nested in an Alien concealed type holster.
I have a Jan hunt and will try it out to see if it actually works in the real world.

I believe the added belt caused extreme pressure on my hip and leg socket when coupled with the back pack hip belt. At least I am thinking that is the issue. Some days I actually had 3 belts.... pants normal belt, hip belt for gun, and then the pack belt. On those days I really hurt and had a hard time with my hips.

I have never worn suspenders but will look at this for the pants, and eliminate the extra belt for other gear and get it all in my bino harness, I just don't want the bino harness too heavy puling on my neck, so far it seams doable. But walking a few miles isn't the same as standing in front of mirror taking a picture...

Yep I agree that's what got me trying to rearrange my gear and still have it all where I want it. I want most stuff in the pack, but also want certain stuff on me at all times. Eliminating the belts is now what I am trying to tackle, while being practical with where my gear is.

My pistol actually fits in my pack belt pouch, but it is hard to get to the zipper if needed in an emergency quickly.
My AZ hunt wont see wolves, bears or lions, but my Utah hunts do and it doesn't do me any good to have it and not get to it.

Look at the black hawk serpa with strike plate to mount your pistol to the pals webbing on the packs belt.

Tim,
I take it the set up is universal to fit many holsters incl the alien? Looks like tons of mounting options on it.

I have seen this before and tried to figure out how to use a system that stays on me and not the pack

That set up looks like it would have a terribly awkward draw stroke and the potential to eat it if you ever fell. Depending on your packs hip belt (is it a day pack or multi-day?) maybe a Safariland ALS type holster attached to the hip belt webbing might work out better.

My buddy uses a drop leg setup and likes it but I just prefer my pack belt. The Kifaru tombstone might be what your looking for, mount it on your pack belt or you reg belt.

Also, there is a quick detach system for the black hawk so you can remove it from your pack belt in seconds if you want to beanie to remove it easily.

My pack for this hunt will be my older Eberlestock day pack the X2
My Kifaru Duplex arrives today, and the Tahr pack next Week sometime.
I have fallen with my pack loaded before so yea that does happen, and where I have it it would be in a place close to the face/chest for sure...

Tim
I may just do the hip belt like you say, as it is most natural to me.
I will have to force my brain to accept the fact that the gun is not on me unless the pack is.
I can easily modify the alien gear to fit the pals on the Kifaru until I am able to get the better set up with 4 location attachments verses the 2 on my alien.
