Anybody have experience with these? How does the width run? I'm borderline
mid/wide. They don't come in a wide but dang they a good looking boot.
Also, Durability, comfort, waterproof? etc......

thanks

I wear them for an everyday boot. They don’t work off trail for me.

They are middle of the road IMO for width. Mine are not waterproof. They are light and comfy though.

Mine have held up good for a couple years. I Admittantly don’t wear them all the time though

You might also look at the Lowa Z8-S and Z-6S GTX. They are technically from the tactical line Lowa has, but I've used the Z-8S in some pretty steep terrain and been fine with it. They are similar to the Zephyr. Have actually used them for a few seasons hunting and wear them as an everyday work boot now. Really like them and will probably buy another pair when these give out on me.

Pretty comfortable with minimal break in as they are not that stiff of a boot, and the water proofing has been great on mine.

Just ordered a pair of Zephyrs in the Sage color.
We'll see. If these don't fit going to try the Renegade
in a wide.

If you're borderline med/wide you should be fine width wise. You can get them in a waterproof. They are a great every day boot and light hiker with a mid stiff sole. Z-8s and z-6s and nearly identical with upgraded leather uppers. Check out the Innox GTX if you havent already if you're looking at an every day boot or light hiker. It's my every day boot.

Brown truck just brought my Zephyrs and dang they are a fine looking boot.
Still a little too narrow at about my toe/foot junction. Gonna have to send em back and order the Renegade GTX in a wide I guess.
Going to let my son try them on first, maybe they will fit him better.

Leaked like a seive within seconds of seeing moisture. Left big toe went numb and feeling came back 3 months later. More flexible than the lowa renegade. Both are too soft for any rock/broken terrain from my experience but I’m 230#.

I just ordered a pair of Oboz Bridger mids in a wide.
Seemed to have better reviews than the Renegade.
$144 Bucks to my door.

The Z 8 are definitely stiffer / more supportive. I bought a pair on deployment and found they were much better for rucking with heavy weight than the zephyer. I agree they are middle of the road in width

ARRRGH!!!! My 14Wide Oboz Bridgers came today and I could tell as soon as I took them out of the box they weren't wide enough. Sure nuff, cant hardly get my foot in there.!!
Setting them beside my Merrell Moab Reg. width it looks like the merrel is 50% wider.
This is ridiculous. Looks like Merrell Moab GTX mid heights for me.

Comfort is outstanding, super quick to don & lace-up, definitely no extra fiddling about. Compared to any other combat-type boot, these take comfort to sneaker level. Also, a rarity, they're actually made in Europe.

Personally running the GTX version, excellent waterproofing and good-to-go almost anywhere. Have held up really nice to repeated exposure to salt water, mossy wetlands and snow/slush. Really, really slippery on icy ground, though. Snowy woods, they're alright, but as soon as you've got firmer ground underneath & snow or ice, mind your step.
