Hey fellas, I own a couple different pairs of lowa boots. I love the fit and never had any issues other than I should of sized up. I been looking at the new tricam and was wondering if anyone has had any experience with these.

I'm running them so far so good.

Not as stiff as my Zamberlin Voiz but lighter. I tried the cevedale but it was just to narrow for my feet. Tricam II fits perfect.

i want to try the ticam as well
was wondering how the width was compared to the camino and the tibet
also wishing i may have had a 1/2 size bigger as well

I ordered them monday. I currently have the baffins in a 10.5 and went with a 11 in the ticam. Even with trying to lace my ankle in my toes would still hit the front of the boot coming off the hill with loads. Crossing my fingers that they are not going to be to big.

So you guys are finding that they fit smaller than other lowa boots?

I own the baffins and evo and I'm not sure if the ticam is built off the same last. For me there is plenty of room in the foot box but I should of ordered a half size bigger. So when ordering these ticam I went a half size bigger so I have room up front. As far as width I'm not sure how they will fit. I should have them in a couple days.

Have you ran any other lowa boot? Im concerned that the 11 wI'll be to big but having the 10.5 baffins not having enough room I think I'll be ok. I'm crossing my fingers anyway.

i have tibet and caminos, both i feel should be 1/2 size larger
i am running into same as you with them,, toes hitting ends of boots, with minimal weight in pack on downhill
the tibets are roomier than the caminos, but i still touch the front of the boot slightly, and thats walking around my house with them on, I'm scared to wear them outside as i got them from L & S and once they hit the pavement I'm sure i won't be able to return them

the ticam looks like a awesome boot
where did you order from couesarizona?
i have a pair in my cart on amazon, sometimes they will lower the price if sit in their long enough...

I ordered them off moosejaw. I got them for 330 I believe it was.

Well fellas just got my boots in today. Right out of the box the are very comfortable and have plenty of room up front. For a full shank boot they are not that bad at all. I'm very happy I went a half side up as well. Plenty of ankle support but you also have very good mobility in the ankle. I went for a quick walk up the trial and had no complaints. No heel slip at all. This was a quick review and I'm hoping these serve me well this season.

so would you say the 1/2 size was perfect fit or ?
i sold my caminos, an may just order them in a 11.5, but have been looking at the ticam as well...

I think they fit great. There is plenty of room up front. I never feel like they are to big. No heel slip and not to wide at all. I've been wearing them since Friday every day and nothing but comfort. Time will tell once I put some miles on them.Arizona really puts boots threw the ringer.

If your toes are touching the front of your boots in the house, send them back and get bigger. You might be worried the new ones will be too big, but I guarantee the ones you have now are too small. One hard pack out and you'll be losing toenails, guaranteed.

i think i will, very good advice jason
i wonder if l and s will refund me
other than the carbon prints and the foot bed
i think if the ticam is a cross between the tibet and the camino i will like it
a camino style boot with slightly larger toe box like the tibet,
looks like that is exactly what it is....
i ordered a pair from shoe buy 20% off promo code "summer16"

took the ticam out of the house for the first trip
should have worn them on a couple walks first, but they felt broke in right out of the box.
nevertheless,
i loaded up the duplex with 50lbs, took off on a 6 mile round trip hike on a fairly smooth trail
i used a pair of aftermarket high quality insole in one boot and the stock foot beds in the other boot, i was just seeing which i would like better, they both feel almost identical in the boot to my feet, so i thought why not try a little test out.

boots were awesome, very flexible, stiff, light, agile, strong, love these boots. I think they are awesome for all terrain...

towards the end of the hike i started getting a hot spot on the inside of my left foot, high on my arch, i pushed through, and thought i could make it back to the truck before it blistered, well i got a small blister.
not bad though, considering i had 50lbs and brand new boots for 6 miles, and we were moving at a good pace as well.
i got the blister on the aftermarket insoles, the stock ones at the end of the trip were my choice for this reason and they just worked well in this boot.
super impressed with this boot, the lacing system on these lows is awesome.......
my foot may have loosened up a bit on the way down helping the blister as well....

going for another hike today, try to push them with the stock beds, i will bring the aftermarket insoles as well though.

I have the renegades right now and wear them hiking and for work but have been looking at the ticam II for hiking/hunting duty to I can just keep the renegades for work. I wear a 10.5 in the renegades and have a little room in the toes, would I be better off with the 11's for the ticam II or stick with 10.5's? Right now on shoebuy.com they have a 25% off so they will only be $277 shipped.

i bought what i normally would buy, it fits perfect. just buy the 10.5, shoe buy will exchange them if you end up needing a size bigger. but i bet the 10.5 will fit just fine.
with that said,,
i just got back from a overnighter and put another 5-6 miles on them, switched the foot bed from the expensive one that gave me a blister and tried a less expensive footbed, i did have my blister covered, and their was no pressure on the hot spot.

these boot are awesome
don't even know i have them on.
very light, comfortable.
i can't believe their is not more reviews on these boots, they are fantastic boots.
