anyone who has had compared any of these can you tell me some differences they give much description on these things.
lowa tibet LL
baffin pro
camino LL

also i wear a 10.5 in boots usually or 11 in tennis shoes if youve tried those sizes too!

i have worn the gtx version of the camino and the tibet, both i would suggest 1/2 size larger
in your case order the 11
the camino is a awesome lightweight hiking boot, if you have sturdy, durable feet they have plenty of support and stiffness for heavy loads and comfort all day
the tibet is much stiffer and bulkier,i really like that boot, and to be fair have only worn mine around the house, but it is bulky heavy and kinda clumsy feeling compared to the camino , i sod my camino it was to small, was going to order it 1/2 size larger, but ran across the ticam,
the ticam is IMO a cross between the two(camino, tibet)
its the perfect blend of both those boots IMO
it feels like a lightweight hiker, but it has the sturdiness, stiffness of the tibet and the room of it also
I'm really liking this boot
good luck

i was thinking the camino was like a hiker, so i will cross that one off, i have seen some talk on here of the ticam but not much or descriptive.
i was kinda of leaning toward something all leather or the LL versions, to keep heat down thought

I've worn the Baffin Pro. It is one STURDY boot. I had the leather lined version. Obviously they are a little on the heavy side, and very supportive. I have the Ranger now. It is more flexible, a little lighter, and a little quieter for hiking around in.

the ranger is a goretex right? lowa site is down now.hows the heat vs LL
i just seen there is a lowa tibet gtx wxl not sure about what this boot is at all but it is goretex?

Yes, the Ranger is a Gore tex boot. It is certainly warmer than the leather lined non-Gore tex boots. My feet seem to sweat badly regardless of the boot though. I always try to take off my boots and socks when I eat lunch or sit down for an extended glassing session. It gives everything a chance to breathe, dry out, cool off, etc.

I've got some older Baffin (banff) leather lined boots. They are cooler and more comfortable than gore Tex boots for sure, however they are still hot when it's hot outside. Don't expect a super breathable boot in any of the leather lined boots

That said, I love comfortable the lowa leather lined boots are.

the camino is a hiker, but it is capable boot, much sturdier than a conventional hiker,
actually love that boot, just got a size small, the ticam is feeling better and better.
others have suggested this and i think if you have the funds to do this its worth it
order a few pairs from amazon and try them on and wear around house
you will know quickly which you like the best
order amazon prime, free return and shipping
shoe buy has a sell right now promo code "hellosummer16" good for 25% off and free shipping

alright got 4 pair in last night to try only messed with for half hour

ranger III are nice and light but not stiff enough sole for my feet feels like to much flex.

tibet LL nice boot, looking like the leader at the moment wish was little shorter though.

baffin really like most of the feel of this one the best, but the tongue part is uncomfortable on top of my foot it is bent and comes to a point/crease the full length of the tongue. baffin and tibet are 99% indentical to me, other than the baffin has a couple more lace eyes.

ticam is real nice and light but seems a little tight/ or touching on top like a tennis shoe not sure that will play well on long hauls.

probably got it down to the tibet LL and the ticam time will tell .
only sock i have on hand to test with boots are kuiu that have the thicker spots in alot of areas, not impressed at all with them .

i havent looked on lowa site yet but i dont know how to lace them up correctly they have a stud in center of tongue and some have a set of flip up lace eyes not sure on those either, need to look into that.

I am lusting for the Baffin pro and have been for sometime. When there is a really good sale and I have a few extra shackles I am going to buy. I am sure they would last me a lifetime.

I sure hope someone points out that great sale when ever it occurs. :)

sale ends tomorrow on shoebuy 25% off now
code hellosummer16 i think. its on the top of there page.

baffin pro is a super comfortable boot, just bought it of shoe buy at a great deal and wow, it is comfortable, this is my first LL boot and am really liking it, it is much stiffer than the ticam i have now but i think i will love it.
