Just a PSA, Lowa Tibet GTX Hi on Clearance for $270. I have not personally tried these boots, but I've heard great things and that sounds like a smoking deal.

Anyone that have these please chime in on the toebox fit! Seems boot makers are in this phase of narrow toebox fit for some reason and I struggle with finding the right boot. Thanks!

I have a wide foot and I found these boots to be somewhat umcomfortable. I had a pair and upgraded to Kennetrek, which I think is a much better boot.

There are several other styles of Lowa on sale too, some of these may offer different fits much like Crispi boots do.

Yeah, that’s why I hate buying boots online. Not many places to try before I buy in my small town. PITA sometimes to set up returns. By the end of my last hunt, I just threw on my New Balance tennis shoes and finished the hunt comfortably! lol

The best I ever owned were a pair of Meindl boots that have long been discontinued. Man, they felt like tennis shoes. Wish I would have bought 5 pairs! 😎

Best boot I’ve ever worn in the steep, rocky, rough terrain here in NM. I’ve bought a couple pairs online and they fit like a glove with no break in period, they’ve been great right out of the box.

I have a pair of these . The boot itself is good quality. The only downfall is the PU sole. I’m about to send a pair to Dave Page to be resoled because they disintegrated. I had a pair of Meindel’s do the same thing. The boot will outlast the sole by a long shot as long as you go into it knowing that a resole is in your future they a a decent hiking boot.

For what it’s worth, the meindel’s were more comfortable. I find the Lowa’s to be a little tight with a good sock on. Particularly over the top of the foot and in the arch. The toe box while not tight could be better. The meindels wore like a well fitted glove. The lowas just never feel that way. I have never owned a pair of the Kenetrek Mountain Extremes but have looked at them several times at the sports shows. The build quality on all three brands is on par with each other so I don’t understand why the Kenetrek is so much more expensive. On all three brands the weak link again is the PU or Nylon sole. When that stuff breaks down it goes fast and furious with little warning. It has happened to me twice while on hunts luckily I wasn’t crazy remote.

I wear the Baffin LL and the Camino's in the Wide and I'd say they do pretty good job on toe box fit. Not as good as Altra's, but I've settled on Lowa wide as my go to. I gotta imagine the Tibet fits very similar to the Baffin (which runs close to 1/2 size larger than the Camino IMO for what that's worth)
