I had this in Hawkins Long Range Hybrids, but hated the 25 MOA cant which cause me to see the end of the barrel on low power and I don’t need the extra moa with this scope. I switched it up to a 2 piece pic rail with nightforce rings but don’t love how high it sits. I have always tried to get the objective as close to the barrel as possible. NF only offers 34mm rings in medium. There is a lot of room below the ring clamp so thinking I might be able to lower it a little with a low profile picatinny rail. Thoughts or suggestions?

That would drive me nuts. I’ve seen people recommend the Burris Xtreme Tactical ones. Full disclosure - I haven’t used them.

Thanks - I’ll check them out. Warne has some scope bases that look low profile, but they dont look like picatinny rails, not sure if they are compatible with my rings.

I have a pair of Burris two-piece steel bases for a Remington 700 (PIC compatible) and the front is .165” from top of receiver to top of base, which seems pretty thin. That leaves .054” between receiver and bottom of cross slot.

I just ordered these to try - thank you!
