Just by chance, I ended up with the Stone Glacier Helo Hoodie, the lighter hoodie (not the wool one), and the synthetic t-shirt. All three are the most comfortable things I have ever worn - love them. By admission, I am a hunting cloths junkie. I have tons of several brands. I also recently went with their bino harness. The bomb.

I am going to take advantage of the special they have going, so what other articles of clothing or items should I consider that you have and love?

Don't forget to get the 8% Active Junky cash back from Stone Glacier.

I don't have any of their clothes, but I know that the Grumman series is very popular.

How about the Altimeter gloves, anyone have any experience with them?
I tried them on. The xl fit perfectly when wearing the inner and shell together but just the xl shell was too big. Sizing down to a large and the inner glove was too small. Kinda defeats the purpose of the design for me. Well built though.

It the puffy super packable. I had to buy the KUIU Super Down a couple years ago. Love the jacket but it is hunt specific and not really packable. It is but isn’t you know what I mean. I am not a real fan of KUIU’s other downs. The Stone Glacier looks like it will pack up pretty small. But have only seen them in person once while in Alaska.

What pants from SG are people liking? I tried on a couple once but was not real sure about them. I would probably be looking for midweight.

I have the M5 Top and Bottom, Altimeter gloves, De Havilland lite and regular pants, Helio hoody and helio zip off bottoms.

M5: Got replaced with Arc'Teryx Beta SLs largely because I gained some lbs, I've since dropped everything I gained and then some so I will likely see how they are again. They arent sized large enough to go over my puffy gear but for warmer weather when wet, theyre good.

Altimeter Gloves: I love the shells, they fit in my glove system extremely well. The liners, while warm, have a very thin face fabric and are not very durable. They are warm though and work excellent as winter gloves when paired with the shell.

De Havilland lite and regular pants: I replaced these with Kuiu attacks, primarily because they are too long. I am 30" inseam and while everything else fit great, when I take my gaiters off at the end of the day I have to roll the pant hem almost up to my knee. Durability, fit and function were excellent though. If it fits your size metric then they are worth a shot, the vents to dump heat are huge.

Helio Hoody and Helio zip off bottom: You have a hoody, its awesome. The pants are even better. They go on every morning and stay on till it gets warm, then zip right off and I dont get dirty socks. Whats not to love?

A friend got the M7 jacket for this years moose and wore it almost every day, he seemed to like it.

Grumman Puffy. No question about it.
Giving some updates here. You were right got one for Christmas. Not worn in hunting conditions but weight to warmth ration seems very good. I had a post on puffy outside or inside, and decided to go with the Large that will pack while walking on goat hunt and pull out and go under my Kuiu Axis jacket with minimal if any compression.
