Love Thy Neighbor

He said, people are animals.

Animals don't go out of there way to places they don't know, to help people they don't know. Hence the Sister Therese reference.
That's not the part I'm talking about...

Sure seems like she never got her fill either.

Got a lot more fame and accolades than most people though.

Blessed are you when they insult you and persecute you and utter every kind of evil against you falsely because of me. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward will be great in heaven.
Matthew 5:11-12

Easy enough to walk on by and not click on either of them no? I probably ignore 90+% of the thread titles I see posted so it's not that hard. :(
Perhaps. One could always not click on either one. Pretty annoying to have it keep these threads keep popping up on the new posts area. Have requested an “ignore this thread” feature so they don’t even show up but that has not gone anywhere. That would be a useful feature. Can ignore individual posters but not individual threads?

But, back to the Praising of Allah or Muhammad - I wouldn’t go to CNN for hunting advice. Would you? Then why would someone go to Rokslide for a religious advice or discussion? How about starting a knitting sub forum? Or a sub forum for Greek currency and its fluctuations vs the USA dollar? Wouldn’t those be nice to see?

This thread has nothing to do with hunting, shooting, or the outdoors. After a certain number of posts in the thread it just becomes tone deaf bible thumpers posting scripture verses, quotes, and disagreeing about whether humans are mammals. Bunch of guys shouting their beliefs in a round padded room. I’m a singular mindset and don’t want any distractions not related to hunting. (The replies will be predictable and along the lines of “But God approves hunting, here is the Bible verse where Pope Peter the 15th Apostle of Latter Day Saints who walked with the Scorpion King talks about hunting” - save it….). I might be interested in things related directly to, or even tangentially to, hunting. But things that aren’t are silly. Be done with the clown show.

Praise Jesus. Carry on.

On that note: We do have the stock traders thread which I believe is the longest running and largest thread ever on Rokslide so there's that. I don't think anyone has complained that it doesn't pertain strictly to hunting and such :) I'm sure a huge percentage of Roksliders never open that thread.

I'm not at all interested in threads about Toyota pickups but there seems to be a new one on this forum every week. Annoying? No. I just scroll past. I could even say it has nothing to do with hunting or shooting. But neither does stock market or business discussions.

You need to understand this forum is brought about to share fellowship with people for a love of the outdoors. Is every discussion in deer camp about hunting? No. We can bring threads up about anything we want within the rules set before us. If you don't like that, maybe this camp fellowship isn't for you?

As far as religion and discussion about God - to some of us, he is the creator of all that we enjoy in the outdoors. The creator of Joy and nature and the cycle of life all in one. You don't have to believe what we do. That's what's great about America. You can scroll on past. Or maybe just keep clicking and reading like you are doing now and maybe you will get something out of it. Of all the threads on here, you are clicking and reading this one, so there must be some interest.
