I have a honey hole that I have had great action in for archery elk hunting in SW Montana but it has recently (last 3 years) been receiving a lot more pressure. Love tells me that my honey hole has potential but logic says to move e to a couple drainage s over where there isn't the pressure. My question, the old honey hole (I would waste 3 days just to verify the elk aren't there) or move over where there isn't the pressure? I'm wondering if the elk will just begin rutting in a quieter drainage... Lately there's been horses, day hunters, and party hunts.
