Yes, before you read further, I pulled a greenhorn move:
I've been using the bino stud/adapter the past 2 years on my swaro 10x ELs and absolutely love it. I was very lucky and won a pair of swaro 15x slcs on the Arizona elk raffle On rokslide this summer, I ordered the stud from outdoorsmans and installed it myself, then put the new binos away.
Fast forward to today, I'm packing my gear, and decide to test the new 15s before I leave tomorrow on a deer hunt, and the stud is loose. It snaps in just to the adapter, but even with the knurled knob fully tightened, the binos still wobble freely. To further confuse me, I put the 10s on the tripod and they work flawlessly as always.
Any thoughts/suggestions/ideas?
