Anyone know where I can get some pigeons to train my dog around Missoula?

Check hwy overpasses for residents.... buy a live trap and set it up with a bunch of seed and a water bottle dripper.

Find an old grain bin go in at night with a fishing net and head lamp they won’t fly. I catch and sell a bunch out here that way. Catching 30 takes about 10 minutes

Thanks, yeah I was gonna do that next spring if I don't get any elsewhere. But, yeah I want live pigeons. I am making a coop right now.

I just found a bunch on craigslist in the Spokane area.

It's not Missoula but Ive driven from Helena and bought them in GF from a couple different guys that had them listed on CL. Its been a while though.

When I was training my dog I built a few traps and ask some business owners in town for permission to set it up on their roof. Most were happy to have me get rid of some. Worth it if you have some spare time and need a steady supply. I also did the 4 am bridge hunts with an extension pole, net and headlamp. Was actually pretty fun, but when people saw me they thought I was a crazy person. Trapping was way more effective.

If they roost there at night that'd be some easy pickings. Wouldn't need traps.
