How does everyone keep their feet warm? I'm using Muck Edgewater II. Thinking about buying my girlfriend the muck arctic boots so her feet stay warm in the woods. Are the 1200 gram insulated boots that are cheaper better?
I have the Muck Arctic Pro’s and I‘ve found they are fine to a certain point and depending if you’re moving or treestand hunting. If you wear boot blankets with them it extends the temp range. I also use the adhesive toe warmers when needed. But if your girlfriend gets cold easily a pair of pac boots may be the way to go.
Get your girl a pair of American made Pac boots. They will last her a lifetime. Much better for walking any distance than made in China Mucks or Xtratuffs.
Schnee's Pac boots and rubber bottom pac boots are handcrafted in Bozeman, Montana from the finest materials, with added cushion and warmth you need to stay comfortable all day.
I have a buddy who loves his muck artic pros. He uses them for ice fishing down to -20 and never complains about his feet getting cold. I'm more of a pack style boot guy though.
