Long time reader, finally got signed up to post. I've got a Mule Deer tag for unit 29 this fall, and will be heading out there in October, arriving most likely a day before the season starts. Will be carrying a bear tag as well. My hunting partner has had to cancel due to health issues. I knew this was a possibility and have planned accordingly, but it would still be nice to hunt with someone else.

I'm not super picky about experience level, as I don't have a ton of my own. Most of my hunting has been for Whitetail in states along the Mississippi. Currently batting 1000 on putting something in the cooler on out of state whitetail hunts but I know that doesn't really translate to success out west. I have done one previous hunt for spring bear in Idaho and was unsuccessful. So I'd be happy to hunt with somebody who knows what they're doing, but somebody with a "let's try it" attitude would be welcome as well.

A little bit about me: Name is Eric. I'm 31 and I'm an emergency nurse by trade. Won't lie and say I'm in tip-top shape, but I'm not overweight and I'm willing to work hard. I do have prior injuries to my right knee and ankle that slow me down a bit but I'm still good for several miles a day over varied terrain. I plan to pack out my animal in 2 or more trips due to the instability in those joints. I rarely swear but I'm not bothered by others who do unless you can't get through a sentence without it.

I know it's a long shot. But anybody else have a unit 29 tag and want to link up with another hunter? Heck, I'd even join up camp with a group of guys.
