Where at in Alaska do you live
I own a house around anchorage but I spend 6-10 weeks at a time working my life away in villages. I am used to traveling along ways for hunting so I’ll go just about anywhere. Other than the steese Highway

Howdy.. I’m in anchorage with a place down in sterling
How’s it going man, my dad and uncles grew up on a homestead in anchor point so I love the peninsula. The regs aren’t too kind for moose season and caribou down south so I mainly black bear hunt that way.

I got some good experience with the southeast the last few years . Been hunting on kuiu, kupreanof, Pow, and the Juneau area. Once I get the ability to dm I’ll send you my info. I just cancelled a bear hunt on kupreanof cause all my buddies bailed. Eyeballing an early alpine deer hunt if I don’t try for sheep this year.

Finding good hunting partners is harder than finding a spouse. I'm in the Valley and do a fair bit of road system big game, and as much ptarmigan hunting with my dogs as I can get away with. Once you get DM privileges of that sounds interesting let me know

Join and participate in the Alaskan Bowhunters Association... you'll have plenty of opportunities. Ed F
I don’t bow hunt at all, but someday I’ll start. I work so much I can’t afford to lower my odds of success at all. It’s hard enough to get time off, all while trying new spots to get away from people. Maybe I’m looking at it all wrong cause some of the bow hunting opportunities for moose make me jealous . I’ll look into it

It’s extremely hard to find a hunting partner. I’ll send you my info once I get the magical dm ability, no way I’m paying 50$ for that

First trip cut short because of a broken trekking pole and bad weather. Stashed my extra food and I’ll be heading back in a few days. Spotted 3 sows 7 cubs and 3 boars in 2.5 days. Can’t wait to get some bear meat

Hey, I'm new on the forum so I can't DM you. I'm looking for hunting partners for the same stuff as you. I'm primarily looking at backpack/packraft hunts.

You can DM me on instagram. I've got the same name there. We can meet for a coffee in Anchorage to see if we get along.
