Never used either one, but have heard nothing but good things about both of them.Well darn, but good for Shaen he is a heck of a good guy to work with but it appears he isn't a big secret anymoreI think he has been mentioned but you might also contact Karl Feldkamp @ Kampfeld Customs. Karl is another one man shop and he builds some of the best there is and usually is pretty quick if you supply the parts. I've had rifles built by a number of the smiths mentioned but my most accurate rifles have been built by Karl and Shaen.
Jon Beanland is a great guy and his work is simply superb. As long as he is building rifles, he will be building MY rifles.Im assembling parts for a new rifle build and looking to have a smith chamber the barrel and assemble the rifle. Who would you recommend? These are some of the names I see with consistent positive feedback.
Alamo precision
Ts customs
Beanland
SPR
LRI
GAP
Who else should I consider?

I had Kevin build me a rifle awhile back and I 100% agree with you, he does excellent work and was great to work with.Montour County Rifles in PA does great work
Actually here we go. Anybody want to fill in?Lots of acronyms here. Can someone familiar with all the smiths make and share a google doc with full names? We can then collaboratively organize by geography, insert contact information, and insert links to relevant threads (reviews, etc.).

Not sure is this your file?? For Kampfeld its showing someone else, its Karl Feldkamp @ Kampfeld Customs and he is in Idaho and works on all kinds of rifles/actions.
Travis is great. This information is very helpful. I will add RBros to that list. I sent travis and email with all my questions early this morning and he called me shortly after to discuss my questions. Customer service goes a long way.

Man, they make a fine looking rifle but their people skills are terrible. The first rifle I put together I had a smith just cut and chamber and I did the rest. I was having feed issues so i went to YouTube on learning how to tune a magazine. I found a video of them and how well their rifles cycle. They were using Lone Peak Fuzion with Wyatt box, and operated Flawlessly, beautiful cycle! That was the same set up as I has so I gave them a call in hopes they would give a rookie a pointer or two. They told me essentially to pound sand. Maybe I crossed a line in asking for a tip, but that interaction has left a bad taste in my mouth. Being personable goes a long way in my opinion, and almost as important as the quality of their work.Blue Mountain Precision out of Vernal, UT. Have a 300prc and a 7 saum built by him and they both shoot dimes size groups.
