Looking for some feedback for those who’ve had hands on any or all of these rifles…
Another option I’m looking at since I know there’s are concerns about carbon fiber accuracy and stringing as the barrels heat up is Bergara’s barreled actions… The no 4 profile is actually lighter than their CURE barreled action and the 5.5 is only slightly more than a pound heavier despite an extra 4 inches of barrel length. I wonder if it be worth considering just getting a barreled actions and dropping it into a lightweight chassis like the XLR magnesium Element for a bout the same cost? But since this is primarily meant to be a lightweight hunting rifle where the first cold bore shot is what really matters, I wonder if the hassle of going this route would be worth it?
Can anyone offer up so insight and/or hands on experience any of these rifles?
