Looking for feedback on Slik SH-704E compact pan head

Has anyone used the Slik SH-704E pan head? It looks like it is only 10.5oz and has some good reviews on Amazon and around the internets. It's also pretty cheap at $39.

It arrived the other day and it sucks! It doesn't move smoothly at all. Sending it back.

The Manfrotto 700RC head is pretty dang solid and $79.

yep just got one with a manfrotto carbon pro tripod. cool set up for the t3I plus the leupold spotter sits on it very well. the quick release is the same as the one on my manfrotto mono pod so can go from one to other with ease. bh photo is my camera shop
