Im looking at adding a second press to my bench. Im thinking I would size on one and finish on the other and I might be able to compleate more while my powder is being measured, I have a RC now and I like it.

I dont use any of the primer feateures or anything. I started looking into a second press and I get lost. I am happy with my RC but I hear of better alignment on other presses with other features. I started looking at the FA M press and Loved the idea but then read bad reviews about how its not machined where the dies go and the repeatability was lacking

I wouldn't mind trying a press that let me zero collars and just slide dies in and out even if I had to buy a bunch of collars. I dont think im interested in a turret.

What should I look into? Whats everyones go to?

This is what I think I'm leaving towards. The forster coax. But I have never seen one and No one sells them around me. Seems like they are the top choice for single stage from what i read.

Pretty much all of them are going to make ammo beyond your capabilities as long as you have everything setup correctly and do your part.

I would maybe veer away from the FA M press, maybe some QC issues there...otherwise, the forster, mec, any of the rcbs or hornady, the redding.....whichever honestly.

If I don't like my results on my progressive, I will probably get either a forster or rcbs summit personally. Mostly just for the smaller footprint on my desk as I have limited space with a progressive already.

I have a the RCBS Summit and really like it. If your going to have 2 presses, then the Summit with its smaller footprint might be nice.

Or....sell the rock chucker and buy a redding T7

Personally I wish I would have picked up the T7. The T7 is a solid press and great option! I see its on sale right now for 400 at midway.
