WTB Looking for a 280 ackley

Recently cleaned out some room in the safe and I'm in the market for a 280 ackley improved, or maybe another 30-06. Something fairly light, preferably with a synthetic stock. I'm located in NE Ohio. Let me know what you have. Thanks.

define fairly light. rifle only at 5lbs, 6 lbs, 7lbs? everyone has a different idea of light. fairly light to me is 5.75-6.25 lbs.

Preferably 7 lbs or under I guess. Not looking for a Sendero type rifle.

Have a supergrade model 70 30-06 in maple. Might be a bit heavy but it's a beautiful gun. I could use another custom action and I don't shoot this one much. It's chopped to 22" and threaded 1/2"

I've got a browning Xbolt thats in perfect condition, less than 100 rounds down the barrel, and shoots really good. I havent really considered selling it but I would if the price was right.

I've been looking hard at those Weatherbys, the 307 and the mark v backcountry. Hard to find any shops here in Ohio that have any in stock to physically hold one though. They sure seem like sweet rifles!

I have a custom built on a Remington 700 with trued action, bolt is bushed and sleeved. McMillan Classic ADL stock. 23" Krieger barrel. Rifle was assembled by Gordy Gritters. Badger bolt knob. Tuned Remington trigger. Rifle has about 500 rounds through it. Still alot of life left. Graphite black cerakote. Not a safe queen and does have some scratches $1650 shipped.
